I saw a photo like this a few months ago and I knew I wanted to make one with Gary.  With all the stuff going on with Chick-fil-A, I thought now was a good time.  Really makes you think, doesn’t it?

I think that is what I enjoyed about Mercedes and Sam more than her being a big girl…. was the fact that they were an interracial couple.  We had Tina and Artie then they moved Tina with Mike…. Which I LOVE and SHIP… but then we didn’t have any interracial couples until Sam and Mercedes…. so Sam is gone and they put her with another African American guy…. it’s not really a big deal.  I just love seeing other interracial couples on tv.  Maybe some of the new characters… who knows.
