Eddie is an amazing person, volunteering throughout the community and always standing strong in the fight for gay rights.  I met Eddie on a planning committee for a Matthew Shepard Memorial event, and we have been friends ever since.  His personality is infectious and we laugh until our cheeks hurt every time we hang out.  He works so hard, and he deserves this so much.
