Today was my classroom workday at the Preschool. I worked hard from 7:30am - 4:30pm in my classroom…. cleaning, labeling, decorating. Getting everything ready for the new school year. The past two years my classroom has had an “Owl” theme. Name tags, bulletin boards, decorations. I love owls. But my kids don’t love them like I do. So I decided for my last year to make the classroom for them. So the theme this year is… Sesame Street. I didn’t realize how difficult it was going to be to do this theme. They don’t make Sesame Street classroom items… So I did what I do best and I improvised. I found Sesame Street scrap booking pieces, stickers, printables, lots of colors and…. Ta Da. I have an awesome classroom. This is what I am most proud of. It’s my Parent Board. It’s not finished, there are some papers missing in the middle there. Check out my Elmo name tags.
Calling it quits for the night. I left my good sharpie at work so I am going to go into work early to try to finish them before the kids get there. Tomorrow is my Friday because we are closed Friday for staff work day. It’s the day we prep our rooms for the new school year. I have a lot to do still. I’m trying not to stress, but you know I am.
Brought my work home with me tonight. Scary looking now… Give me a couple hours.
